Welcome to The Carlene Nazarian Dance Center
Why We Dance
The Carlene Nazarian Dance Center was founded by Carlene Nazarian in 1984. For 40 years, Carlene built a home for dancers to learn, grow and thrive. In 2024, after 40 years of welcoming so many students and families into her studio, Carlene passed the torch to Laura Nazarian for the next generation to continue to inspire young dancers.
At CNDC, we take pride in providing an environment where dancers can grow as individuals through the art of dance. We aim to teach proper technique and the necessary music appreciation to accompany dance.
Our studio is a place where dancers learn self-discipline, determination, and confidence. A love of dance is encouraged and instilled by our experienced instructors who provide high-quality, professional dance training. These qualities are the foundation of a strong character as well as an accomplished dancer. We take our craft seriously and approach our students with love and concern.

Our Purpose in Motion
At CNDC, dance is more than movement—it’s a journey of expression, growth, and connection. We’re dedicated to creating an environment where every dancer can thrive through:
Inclusive Dance Environment
We create an environment for dancers of all ages and abilities to thrive.
Inspired Teaching
Our instructors are not only passionate but deeply experienced, bringing professional-level expertise and infectious energy to every class.
Building a Community
We cultivate a warm, team-focused environment where dancers grow together, support one another, and build lasting friendships that extend beyond the studio.
Personal Development
We nurture every student’s confidence, creativity, and self-discipline and help them grow not just as dancers, but as kind, dedicated and hard-working individuals whose lessons last far beyond the studio.

Thirty-two years ago, I signed up my three year old for dance class at Carlene’s. It was one the best decision I ever made for her. She learned many life lessons from being a dancer and gained life-long friends along the way. Now watching my grand-daughter learn to dance and make new friends, we are coming full circle. Congratulations Carlene as we celebrate your kind, caring qualities and dedication and hard work for shaping young children into thriving adults.
